Welcome to the Art Gallery of Diana Fava
Diana Fava is a multi-medium artist who recently relocated to Sarasota from High Springs/Gainsville, Florida. While in Gainesville, Diana was active in the art community, teaching watercolor at the University of Florida as part of UF's Community Enrichment Program for eight years. In addition to teaching at the University, Diana was pivotal in opening High Springs's only art co-op in downtown High Springs. Over the years, Diana has been a part of many art shows, including Gainesville's Fine Art Festival, where she was honored to be featured as the Poster Artist of 2010 for her modern scratch art rendition of jellyfish. Since relocating to Sarasota seven years ago to be closer to her daughter, Diana has started teaching at ACE's Adult & Community Enrichment Program, Sarasota Art Center, and Michael's Craft Store. Diana also worked at Artful Giraffe, selling art in the showroom and helping with classes in the store's studio. Sarasota has become Diana's new home, and because of Sarasota's flourishing art community, she looks forward to many more years as a valued member of Sarasota's art scene.
